No price grid. An honest range on the first call.
What SEO actually costs and what moves the number
Most agencies either hide the price entirely or publish a grid that is wrong for almost everyone who reads it. Here is the model we actually use, what makes one engagement cost more than another, and what you can expect to pay for.
Why we do not publish a price grid
It is not coyness. A grid would be wrong for most people who read it.
Two businesses in the same industry can need completely different amounts of work. One has a healthy site, some existing authority and needs content and links. The other has a site search engines struggle to crawl, no topical depth at all, and competitors who have been publishing for a decade. A single published figure would overcharge the first and badly under-serve the second.
So the number comes out of a scoping call, and it comes with the reasoning attached. If we do not think we can win your queries at a budget that makes sense for you, we say so on that call rather than selling you a retainer that was never going to work.
The three things that move the price
Taken from how we actually scope organic work.
- 01
How competitive your keywords are
A category with a dozen well-funded incumbents publishing weekly costs more to enter than one where the top results have not been updated in two years. This is the single largest factor, and it is knowable before you commit — we check it during scoping.
- 02
The state of your site, content and authority
Starting from a technically sound site with existing content is a different job from starting with a site that cannot be crawled properly. The further back you start, the more of the first quarter goes into foundations rather than into growth.
- 03
How many surfaces you run at once
Google, AI assistants, Reddit and the map pack are four different pieces of work. Running one well costs less than running four, and for most businesses one surface is where the decision is actually made anyway.
Packages
The three ways we work
Three packages, not a menu of surfaces — the shape is set by how much of the work you want us to run.

How it runs
How the number gets decided
- 1
You tell us what you sell and to whom
Fifteen minutes of context. We are working out which surface your buyers actually use, because that decides most of the scope before anything else does.
- 2
We look at where you stand today
Rankings, citation share, technical health and the competitors currently holding the queries you want. This happens on the call, not as a paid audit afterwards.
- 3
We size the gap
How far you are from the front, and how much work per month closes that in a realistic timeframe. This is the step that produces the number.
- 4
You get the plan either way
You leave with a scoped plan and an honest range, whether or not you hire us. If we do not think it is winnable at your budget, we say that instead of quoting.
Get the number, and the reasoning
A 30-minute scoping call gives you a real range for your market and a plan you keep either way. If we do not think we can win your queries, we will say so on the call.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask us first.
How much does SEO cost in India?
There is no single figure, because the honest number depends on how competitive your keywords are, what state your site is in, and how many search surfaces you need. Agencies publishing a fixed monthly price are either quoting for a scope that may not match your situation or planning to upsell later. We scope it on a first call and give you a real range before anything is committed.
Is SEO charged monthly or as a one-off project?
Organic work is normally a monthly retainer, because results compound over quarters and a single month of work has nothing to compound. Some pieces genuinely are projects — a technical fix, a site migration, a one-time audit — and those are scoped separately. What should never be a one-off is the content and authority work, since stopping it stops the growth.
What is the cheapest SEO that actually works?
The cheapest work that produces anything is usually a single surface done properly rather than four surfaces done thinly. For a local business that means the map pack and reviews; for a considered B2B purchase it usually means the questions buyers ask before they shortlist. Spreading a small budget across everything is the most common way an SEO retainer produces nothing at all.
How long before SEO pays for itself?
Meaningful organic gains typically take three to six months, and payback depends on your margin and deal size as much as on the rankings. A business with a high lifetime value can be ahead within two quarters; a low-margin one may take a year. We would rather tell you that honestly at scoping than have you cancel in month three expecting revenue that was never going to arrive that fast.
